From the tee beside the Auchendinny road the tee shot is played to the left of a slightly dog-leg fairway on the line of the old shelter, this then leaves an open approach to the green which is on top of a hill with bunkers to the left and right, any wayward tee shot can either end up in the woods to the left or right of the fairway and hedges behind the green will punish any over hit approach shot.
