LADIES SECTION

Our Ladies’ Section is active and very friendly and offers a full programme of competitions throughout the year.  The handicaps range from single figures to 36 and reflect the wide range of playing ability within the section. 

The 2010 season commenced with an all prize Tri Am in March. A full programme of medal competitions commenced in April and continue through to October.  These competitions are held on Sundays and Thursdays.  In addition we have three “major” competitions which are the Spring, Summer and Autumn meetings and these are held on a Saturday. 

Ladies’ Teams compete in the Midlothian County Ladies’ Golf Association 5 a-side League and the Greensomes Competition.  Teams are also entered in the Interclub and the Morrison Millar Competitions.  Additionally, we have a number of friendly matches against clubs in Edinburgh, Lothian and Borders areas. 

Our very popular Ladies’ Open Greensomes Day is on 22 August 2010. 

Outwith the many social events organised by Glencorse Golf Club the Ladies’ section also holds a Christmas Dinner and an Annual Dinner in March. 

Whatever your level the course offers challenges and enjoyment and we look forward to welcoming you to Glencorse Golf Club.
