SENIOR SECTION

There is a very active Senior Section at Glencorse with handicaps ranging from single figures upwards.

Seven monthly medals are played on Mondays throughout the playing season along with a knockout competition.

A Senior Open is also played at the end of May- All Welcome.

Just after the festive season there will be a senior dinner- a very informal get-together with wives, partners and friends. (Keep your eye on the notice board for the date)

We have a senior team which competes in the South Edinburgh District Senior Golf League consisting of 11 clubs, including ourselves, which compete against each other -competitive but very friendly and enjoyable, with 3 friendly matches also played during the season.

During the winter season a Stableford Competition is played--to cards, with the best 3 cards counting to the score. This keeps our competative game in trim.
